Organised by FIPEd in collaboration with the FIP Academic Pharmacy Section, the FIP Community Pharmacy Section, the FIP Hospital Pharmacy Section, the FIP Social and Administrative Pharmacy Section, FIP’s SIG on Pharmacy Practice Research, International Pharmaceutical Students’ Federation and the FIP Young Pharmacists Group
As a result of the Global Conference on Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences Education, held in Nanjing, China, in 2016, a set of global workforce development goals (WDGs) were developed by FIP and FIPEd through a consultation process. The WDGs are intended to guide FIP’s member organisations, partners and stakeholders to support the development of the pharmaceutical workforce from pre-service to advanced practice. Research, evaluation and progress monitoring of the outcomes of the WDGs is vital to advance the pharmaceutical workforce. In this session, sharing the innovations, tools and best practices in a creative hub environment will allow participants to engage with the WDGs and take away ideas to develop their own national strategies according to international recommendations. Participants will be invited to engage with the vision and strategic plans of FIPEd for the WDGs.
