  1. 09:00 – 10:20 Reducing medication errors, and the patient safety agenda
    Speakers will showcase collaborative efforts to reduce medication errors and improvement strategies for patient safety in medicines use. Emphasis will be on the role of the pharmacy support workforce as a contributor to a safer medication system, including a perspective from a patient with lived experience.  A CQI model using a medication incident reporting approach will also be shared.

Participants will engage in a discussion about strategies and techniques used for development of a support workforce including how to begin for those at ground zero.
